Episode 9
I got to school early and went to my class. I studied like I never did yesterday night because we'll be having mathematics test today. I placed my head on the table tiredly. Then, someone came to me"hy Tania"the person greeted. I raised up my head and saw dave. I put on a fake smile looking at him. "Hy, we met again"I said looking at him. "You're early to school"he said. "Yes, I don't like being late to school. I prefer coming early before anyone else"I said smiling. "You're just the opposite of her"he murmured to himself, supposing I won't hear that. "You said?"I asked looking at him. "It's nothing, I was just saying that's good"he said smiling. "Hope your girlfriend is not here again to take you away?"I asked smiling. "No she's not"he said smiling shyly. I stood up and moved closer to him. He stared at me as I got closer "your hair is messed up here"I said stoking his hair with my hand. I looked at him and can see how his expressing changed. "Am sorry for touching you"I said moving away from him. "It's ok. Thanks for helping me"he said smiling and dressing his hair properly. "If you don't mind, Can we be friends?"I asked stretching my hand for a shake. He looked at me smiling brightly"sure of course we can"he said happily. He shook my hand and I held him tight thinking of revenge. "What the hell are you guys doing?"Hanna said as she entered the class and saw us together. She got to us and quickly separated our hands forcefully. She looked at dave and raised her hand to slap him, but she stopped in the middle with her hand hanging as she stared at him angrily. "What were you thinking? It was just a mere shake, why overreacting on it? Stop acting so mean"dave said looking at her. "Just a mere shake? Dave I know you very well more than anyone. Stop hanging around her, it's annoying"she said angrily. "And you"she turned to me. I folded my arms together watching her as she talk. "I know what you're doing. Stop hanging around my boyfriend. Don't let me repeat that again ok"she said raising her eyebrows. "It's enough, what do you mean by that. Dave is just a friend to me. Isn't it dave?"I asked facing him. He looked at Hanna and looked back at me"yes we're just friends. Don't get the wrong idea."he said to Hanna. She nodded her head looking at dave"now I understand you"she said and walked out angrily. "Why is she so mean like that?"I asked dave. "Don't mind her, let her just go. Am tired of her nagging"he said looking sad. "Hope am not the topic of your fight?"I asked him. "No you're not"he said smiling.

I studied hard for our mid term tests. Because I don't want to go back to the old Tania. After few days, we finished the test and the results were posted outside the class. everyone went out to check their results. I moved closer to the board and can hear them talking about something, I looked for my name expecting it to be somewhere third or fourth place, because there are lot of smarter students in my class. But surprisingly to me, I was at the top. Tania 1st, Linda 2nd, Daniel 3rd. I can't believe I can beat Daniel and Linda of all people. I took the first place"wow, I can't believe she took the first place. Poor Linda she has a rival now"a girl said to her friends. "Tania, you're the best"sonia said raising her thumb up to me. I looked at Daniel But he was busy looking at Linda. I can also see the reaction on Linda's face, But I don't care. My mum and dad will be so proud of my grade. Sonia and I left the place and headed out.
"So, how was the plan?"sonia asked. "It's going really well. Can you believe he and Hanna had a fight because of me"I said looking at Sonny. "Seriously is that true? I can't believe he can fight Hanna because of you, but anyway good job"Sonny said smiling.
After closing, I walked towards the gate to wait for my driver outside. I saw Daniel waiting by the gate. I moved to his side and stood beside him"hey, Daniel"I said on getting to him. "Hy"he said looking at me. "Waiting for someone?"I asked him. "Yes"he said briefly. "Ok, am also waiting for my driver"I said looking at him. There was a silent for a while, as we both don't know what to say to each other again. "Am sorry for the other time"he said breaking the silent. "It's ok. I think you were in hurry that day"I said looking at him. He nodded his head smiling"Am Daniel by name"he said smiling. "Am Tania"
"I already know that"he said looking at me. It has been long I saw that smile. I stared at him smiling to myself. "You just look alike to a friend of mine"he said looking at me. "Is that true? She must be so lucky to have you as a friend I envy her"I said smiling. Linda came to us"let's go"she said looking at Daniel. "Hy Tania"she greeted smiling. "Hy"I greeted back waving my hand. "Bye, see you later"Daniel said waving as they left.

Dave and I has got really close that, he asked for my number and we used to talk on phone. His attention on Hanna died down slowly as I got closer to him. But the vengeance of revenge is still boiling in me.
One day during break, I was with him somewhere on the field. "Why do you agree to be friend with me?"he asked putting on a serious face. "I just like your personality. If I ask something from you, can you do it?"i asked looking at him. "Yes, I can do anything for you"he said. I moved closer to his ear and said something to him. He was surprised on hearing this. "That won't be easy you know"he said looking at me. "Why? It's just a simple thing. Why can't you do it? If you do it, I promise to date you for real and will never break your heart. Just trust me"I said holding his hand. We were still talking when Hanna came to us. "So, you guys are now playing love in Tokyo here. Dave why are you doing this to me? Please what have I done wrong to deserve all this. Remember your promise to me dave"Hanna said looking sad. Dave looked at me and I gave him sign to do what I asked of him. I watch him as he kept quiet not saying anything.
Will he do what I said or not? I thought to myself watching the both of them.
